Our programs teach teens to resist the temptation to live for self, and to live for the glory of God.

Mission: The BCC is a volunteer driven non-profit organization dedicated to helping people help themselves as they develop search strategies and skills, and conduct an effective job search brought on by unemployment, career transition, re-entry to the workforce, or first time employment. We provide a positive and affirming environment and offer a wide range of programs, services, and resources. The Center's goal is to prepare our clients to pursue rewarding employment in today's highly competitive and ever changing marketplace.

Why we do it: Our culture teaches us that money and things will bring happiness, even if it requires us to go into debt to get them.

How we do it: Through seminars, workshops and counseling we teach biblically based money management and budgeting skills.

Lutherbrook (Child and Adolescent Center and Lutherbrook Academy)

Child and Adolescent Center: Provides specialized residential treatment for children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Lutherbook Academy: Provides special education for children and youth (kindergarten through high school), including: Lutherbrook children unable to attend public schools and other children in the area needing special education services.

CISM (Chicagoland International Student Ministry)

Mission: This society promotes Gospel centered hospitality and friendship among international students in the U.S. as well as in other countries.

Prince of Peace is currently supporting the efforts which serve the University of Illinois-Chicago area.

Good News Jail and Prison Ministry (Chicago, IL)

Purposes: Organizing a visitation program for the benefit of inmates of institutions in the state, witnessing to inmates and their families, aiding in a physical/spiritual rehabilitation of men and women upon their release from an institution and provision of an educational program within the institutions to encourage continuance of formal education.

Grace Lutheran School/La Santisima Trinidad

Grace Lutheran School In Chicago, Illinois, Grace School works closely with Grace Lutheran Church and La Santisima Trinidad Lutheran Church. The majority of the student body is Hispanic.

La Santisima Trinidad Lutheran Church La Santisima Trinidad began as the outreach of Grace Church to the Hispanic community around it. It became an independent congregation and has been served by a Missionary-at-Large since 1993.

PHD (Society for the Preservation of Human Dignity)

Mission: PHD is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing counseling, education and support services to anyone facing issues relating to pregnancy and its continuing challenges.

Philosophy: The foundation of PHD is the common belief that every human life is sacred. PHD is a unique organization comprised of donors, staff and volunteers who treat clients with respect in a non-judgmental, confidential, caring manner.
