POP Kids
There is an excitement in the halls here at Prince of Peace... we're gearing up for a new ministry year! It's time to register for POP Kids- weekend Children's Ministry at Prince of Peace!How can you help make the transition into another ministry year so successful?
- Complete the on-line registration form (click the button below). Your quick response enables us to get an accurate count for curriculum and supplies.
- Volunteer your time. How? Well, I'm glad you asked!
- Volunteer to be a classroom leader. We are especially looking for Dads to step forward and volunteer. Studies show that children are more active in the church and grow deeper in their faith if their father takes an active role in their child's spiritual development. What better way to do that than to be their leader in POP Kids?!
- Volunteer to help behind the scenes. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to get ready for POP Kids. Share your gifts and talents with the POP Kids team.

- Stay informed! When notes and newsletters come home, take time to read them over. Ask questions if you don't understand something. We are continuing to do more communication via e-mail to save some trees- please keep us informed of any e-mail changes.
- Join us for a special parent orientation on Sunday, August 28 at 9:45AM. While parents get to meet our POP Kids leaders, and discover how our ministry is being re-tooled to intentionally partner with your family, the kids get to attend a special screening of the new Veggie Tales Movie- the Princess and the Pop star: A story of trading places, and a lesson in being yourself.
- Start praying! We need the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish the tasks the Lord set for us to do. We can't accomplish anything without Him! Our Ministry year kicks off on Rally Day - September 11. POP Kids classes are from 9:15 to 10:30am on Sunday mornings for children age 3 through 5th grade. (Pre-School students must be 3 by September 1, 2011.)
